Who we are and why we built this.

Our story

Expat Stays was created by people who understand both sides of the overseas Pakistani experience. We've lived abroad, visited home regularly, and eventually settled back in Pakistan. Through it all, one problem kept recurring: finding reliable accommodation.

Hotels felt impersonal and expensive for extended stays. Airbnb was a gamble. Staying with family meant sacrificing privacy. We wanted something in between—a place that felt like home but maintained the standards of a professional operation.

When we couldn't find it, we built it.

How We Operate

We keep operations simple and direct. Bookings happen via WhatsApp because real conversations build trust better than automated forms. We don't take upfront payments through the website because we prefer transparency and flexibility.

Our properties are in Islamabad, where we can personally oversee quality. We might expand to other cities eventually, but only if we can maintain the same standards. Proximity matters when you're accountable for every detail.

This approach doesn't scale like a tech startup, and that's intentional. We're building a service, not a platform. The difference matters.
